Trying to do a painting a day...I was looking at photographs of modern day Chernobyl and got me thinking about Russia's past rulers. Hope you enjoy!

I'm going to stop saying it's great and awesome because all your stuff seems to be. What I want to know is how did you get that smooth texture? Is that noise or film grain set to monochromatic?

I can't wait to see more!

Thanks so much for all the favs!! I really appreciate it! Love your work as well! And yes, I have a very low noise to the whole thing set to monochromatic. I dupe'd a copy of the whole piece and blurred the edges so maybe thats why it looks a little smoother and softer than usual...maybe?

Nice one, I like the idea of putting the symbol in the eye... You know, This theme could make a great series of paintings of world leaders!
